Course Overview
This course is designed for students ranging from those with no prior knowledge of Arabic to having advanced proficiency. Focusing on spoken Arabic, it equips learners to communicate effectively in a variety of everyday scenarios such as greetings, introductions, shopping, travel, and dining out.
In addition to speaking and listening, students will also be introduced to the Arabic script, gaining the ability to read and write simple words and sentences.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
Engage in basic conversations and ask/answer common questions
Understand and respond to everyday expressions
Read and write simple phrases and signs in Arabic
Build a strong foundation for continued Arabic study
How You’ll Learn
The course is delivered twice a week in 2-hour sessions over 6 weeks, with a focus on interactive, practical learning. Lessons are conducted in a mix of Arabic and English, supporting comprehension while immersing learners in real language use.
All four key language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—are covered, with particular emphasis on verbal communication and listening skills.

*Beginner (Levels 1–3)
Start speaking from day one. Build your foundation in real-life communication and the Arabic script.

Numbers & Time: Counting, telling the time, days of the week
Daily Routines: Talking about your day, simple verbs in present tense
Shopping & Prices: Asking for items, numbers, bargaining in a market
Food & Drink: Ordering in a restaurant, likes/dislikes, Egyptian dishes
Directions & Transport: Asking for directions, using taxis and public transport
Family & Relationships: Describing your family and basic relationship vocabulary
The Arabic Alphabet: Reading and writing simple words
Basic Grammar: Subject pronouns, gender, plural forms, yes/no questions
Intermediate (Levels 4–6)
Expand your vocabulary, improve sentence structure, and handle more complex conversations.

Past and Future Tense: Describing past events and future plans
Hobbies & Free Time: Talking about sports, entertainment, and interests
Health & Wellbeing: Describing symptoms, visiting the doctor or pharmacy
Work & Study: Talking about jobs, workplaces, and school/university life

Opinions & Preferences: Agreeing/disagreeing, expressing feelings and preferences
Cultural Traditions: Egyptian holidays, celebrations, and social customs

Advanced (Levels 7–9)
Achieve fluency in real-world conversations, nuanced expression, and deeper cultural understanding.
