Course Overview
Our Russian course is designed to take you from zero to confident speaker, with a focus on real conversations, practical skills, and cultural fluency. Through immersive learning, role-play, and hands-on activities, you’ll not only master the Cyrillic script but speak with confidence, understand authentic Russian, and connect meaningfully with its people and traditions.
From navigating a Moscow metro to chatting about your weekend with friends—this course gets you speaking Russian in real-life contexts from day one.
How You’ll Learn
The course is delivered twice a week in 2-hour sessions over 6 weeks, with a focus on interactive, practical learning. Lessons are conducted in a mix of Arabic and English, supporting comprehension while immersing learners in real language use.
All four key language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—are covered, with particular emphasis on verbal communication and listening skills.
Expect a dynamic classroom experience including:
Role-Play & Real Scenarios: Practice conversations like booking a train ticket or meeting a friend in a park
Listening Labs: Work with real Russian audio—news clips, podcasts, songs, and movie scenes
Conversation Circles: Boost fluency through group speaking and pronunciation coaching
Culture-Driven Modules: Learn about Russian festivals, etiquette, traditions, and daily life

Course Structure
Beginner (Levels 1–3)
Get comfortable with the sounds, structure, and everyday basics of Russian.
What you’ll cover:
Cyrillic alphabet: reading and writing with ease
Introducing yourself, asking simple questions, expressing needs
Talking about family, daily routines, food, weather, and hobbies
Ordering in cafés, navigating shops, and basic travel phrases
Grammar foundations: present tense verbs, noun genders, cases (nominative, accusative), personal pronouns
Russian customs: greetings, gestures, do’s and don’ts
Writing: short phrases, messages, and notes
Intermediate (Levels 4–6)
Start connecting your thoughts and expressing ideas clearly in more complex situations.
What you’ll cover:
Describing past experiences and making future plans
Asking for directions, talking about your job, health, and education
Giving opinions and discussing your preferences
Understanding Russian holidays, traditions, and everyday etiquette
Grammar focus: verb aspects, dative and genitive cases, reflexive verbs
Listening to native dialogues, short interviews, and folk tales
Writing: personal emails, diary entries, descriptions, basic storytelling
Advanced (Levels 7–9)
Speak confidently, explore literature and culture, and refine your fluency.
What you’ll cover:
Discussing current events, society, and global issues in Russian
Sharing personal stories with emotion and detail
Debating ideas, expressing agreement/disagreement respectfully
Understanding idioms, humor, and cultural references
Exploring Russian literature, cinema, and media
Grammar deep dive: subjunctive mood, conditional sentences, advanced case usage
Writing: articles, reflections, opinion pieces, and creative writing
